So, it’s official! We’re delighted to announce that The Metals Warehouse has joined the British Stainless Steel Association (BSSA).
The biggest motivating factor for us in making this move is that, whilst being an online store, we wanted the business to have its own tangible identity. We have got similar moves in the pipeline and will be sharing these in the very near future.
Since its birth, over 10 years ago, TMW has continued to grow in prominence and now stands, in our opinion, as one of the leading suppliers of custom-cut Aluminium and Stainless Steel in the UK market.
We’ve moved beyond solely providing the manufacturing, construction, and trade industries, with our products now being just as popular to anyone tackling that everyday DIY job or project that needs taking care of.
The BSSA is a fantastic association that champions the greater use of stainless steel in the UK and Ireland. And by joining, The Metals Warehouse will now have a presence alongside other leading businesses across the industry.
You can expect to see our name across various points of the website, while it will also support us moving forward with our own ongoing marketing activity.
Speaking about the news, Gary Peters, The Metals Warehouse’s Commercial Director, said: “With such uncertain times ahead, due to ongoing issues like COVID and Brexit, we wanted to be part of an association that has its finger on the pulse of both Stainless Steel and the wider economy.
“Becoming members also allows us the opportunity to formally meet up with our peers, which I think will be of great benefit in the coming years.”
Rob Cooper, Managing Director of the BSSA, added: “The British Stainless Steel Association (BSSA) exists to promote and develop the manufacture and use of stainless steel across the UK and Ireland.
“Based in Sheffield, the Association provides marketing support, technical advice, information, training and education in all aspects of stainless steel.
“The BSSA is really pleased to welcome The Metal Warehouse and the whole of the Leengate Group and look forward to working with them and assisting with their stainless steel needs.”
